The founder
Meet Lené Kriel.
Founder · Full-stack Engineer
Bytes & Pixels was founded by Lené Kriel — a full-stack engineer who took the scenic route into code. She started out in chemical engineering, then built a media business around photography and design. It was running that business that sparked a love for software — which led to a BSc IT and a full-time engineering career.
Today she builds production web apps right across the stack — Angular, Vue, NestJS, Laravel, .NET — for companies like Inkblot, Digital Oxygen and Revvtech, always with a designer's eye on the result. Bytes & Pixels is the natural next step: that same craft, as a company.
